At the surface
A man in his mid twenties that was born and raised in a secluded far eastern village. He has left that home to venture into Eorzea where he currently lives. Eccentric but kind, he is best described as an enigma. The oddest thing is that two men seemingly share the same name and memory.
Current Events
The mysterious coffee merchant
Most of his days are spent at home looking after his animal friends, the house and even the coffee shop that has opened in his house. He has been encouraged by the manager of the business half of the household to attract more customers. Having heard of plans to make delivery of coffee possible, he has decided to make use of his own talents to be anywhere but at the household with equipment prepared to make hot cups of coffee on the spot. The increased weight of a larger pack requires him to carry his personal satchel and a larger bag against his back. Absence of said bag can be remedied with a timely delivery from one of his helpers. His primary approach appears to be approaching crowds that look like coffee enjoyers from hard to predict angles. Such as barrels, boxes, large jars and even bodies of water. There are plans to organize his pack further to allow tea making from his portable equipment as well. He has not been given permission to hand out free samples. He is handing out free samples. But only sometimes.

History
At an early age he was blessed by Susano as the god that would watch over him. This gave him an affinity for the storm god's elements that they have reign over but drastically weakened those that they did not.His education at the village was everything he could need to be a scout. Reading and writing were a must, but so was the ability to track foot prints as well as awareness in a general sense. This was the more normal part of his education. The rest was the training undertaken by a Ninja of the far east. The village was home to many families that traced their lineage back to Shinobi over the ages, and those families expected the younger generation to inherit the teachings of generations past. And so Kentaro trained to be a good Ninja.Kentaro could read and write. He could extract information from written material well, but he suffered from not being able to fully comprehend a lesson from spoken word alone without asking numerous questions of his own. His best approach was hands on training, and many of his teachers could see this. They devised specialized lessons for his strengths and weaknesses and gave him a great appreciation for flexible mentors.He would however not take up the mantle as Ninja of the next generation for his family. Instead he would set out with a Xaelic thief that would sneak into their storehouse and steal their food, his younger brother and two Chocobos that were trained to take riders once he was an adult. His weakest skill while growing up was social interaction. To the point where by the time he was an adult, the most he knew was stage plays and some written work he had read.They traveled the land together, avoiding any unnecessary interaction with locals and even the Garlean occupation until eventually they were on the boat to Eorzea. There Kentaro was forced to quickly learn the most basic words and meanings that the Eorzeans spoke to attain the ability to speak their language at a level they would understand. The rest from there are all stories he could tell to anyone interested.
Personality
A kind young man who is quick to adapt to situations once they start to get dangerous or uncomfortable. He plays the persona of a fool by turning off his mind and leaving it in a more passive state. His eyes take in information that he effectively stores when it comes to movements and small details. This leads to surprising moments of clarity, even when he is not actively focused on a task.His speech pattern is a mixture of analysis, feelings and obvious facts that did not need to be stated. He prefers to speak without using contractions because he feels the possibility for them to get misheard and misunderstood to be too high. In moments of pressure, he will at times forego this. He doesn't quite understand personal space unless he senses direct danger to his body through physical harm, and has a bad habit of standing far closer than is comfortable for most people, as well as directly setting his hand on them. He genuinely just likes seeing people that are happy and at the expense of nobody else.He has an affinity for knights, revering them as the greatest warriors and attempting to take on his image of an ideal knight even if he knows they don't exist. Some of this can be seen in his practice of rousing speeches to lift the spirits.He enjoys friendly sparring matches and sees them as both a way to exercise and improve upon his abilities. He has no desire to end anyone's lives, and reserves that for beasts and monsters. Kentaro has never killed a man. Despite how much damage he may inflict, they are never fatal wounds.Despite his strong connection to Susano, he is well aware that quite a few consider the Khojin god to be a primal. This has given him the idea that perhaps only gods with a great number of worshipers becomes a real god such as the twelve. He respects other's view so long as they can let go of the strong bias they have and consider other points from directions they may not like.Even with all of his flaws, he's always happy to make new friends if they aren't scared off by his eccentric behavior.

Eyes
His strong eyes that he refers to as his scout's eyes. They're just normal eyes, but he takes in many details such as finer movements for later use, such as practicing them later. While he can not copy martial arts techniques, he can however use what he saw to create a bastardized physical technique of his own using past movements he has used, himself. High adaptability comes from all the senses. But the eyes play a big part.Aetheric
His spells are limited in effective range, forcing him to take on a more melee oriented approach. He can use focus points that he creates for himself by engraving certain symbols into his equipment which effectively marks them as his personal equipment. His spells in general are not very powerful in force, but his ease in performing several weak offensive spells one after another in quick succession help keep him on his feet. His defensive spells are much more effective. The oddity about his hands on approach to learning, is that being struck with spells gives him the chance to start learning why it is doing what it is doing, but this does not often lead to any great insight on how he can use it for himself. But you never know...
Also he has very poor effectiveness with healing spells. The best he can do is comfort someone that is hurt, but this does not heal a wound.Body
He is blessed with a strong recovery from injuries. Almost as if that was where all of his potential for healing spells had gone. A innate benefit to his own healing. This fact has put the idea in his head that he should take injuries for other people so they don't have to suffer it. It is more efficient if he gets hurt. That aside, he has a lighter frame and excels at high speed movement and acrobatics. Aquatic movement is also something he finds comfortable.Body(?)
After some time in Eorzea, a mishap led to a witch casting a curse on him. This has caused him to shift between two specific heights. A three fulm tall Plainsfolk with silvery eyes and his natural roughly six fulm tall shape. His weight is fifty ponze and one hundred and fifty ponze, respectively. Rather than find a way to dispel it, he welcomed it into his body and now lives with it fully ingrained in his being. It is a mystery how he manages with it, but one thing is for sure. The clothing and weaponry in two sizes has cut a mysterious hole in his gil pocket. And he must save for longer periods of time to purchase new equipment.

The dear younger brother(taro) Jotaro
His false name was Jonathan for a good while. A solid man who has a good sense of humor. He set out with Kentaro right as the man became an adult, only being a little bit younger than him. He never fails to find himself in trouble for something he says. He didn't take well to the Ninja style of training and so he turned himself to training his body to become a weapon on its own. He was more akin to a Monk that simply knew about what it was a Ninja could do.His cover for his strange name yet being Kentaro's brother was that he's not blood related at all. In fact, he was found in a basket out in the middle of nowhere where his father lost him and taken in by the Fujibayashi family. After learning about his origins, he decided to take up the sword. This is of course not the case. He is blood related. He was born a Midlander but some events transpired that forced him into the shape of a Miqo'te. Yet he can also seemingly change back and forth given the right circumstances. He spends his days practicing new forms of martial arts and weaponry, not too unlike Kentaro... But unlike Kentaro, he also has his eyes glued to girls that might be considered "Hot" as he puts it.
Hayato Fujibayashi
An interesting middle aged man that tries to keep his youth intact. He is Kentaro's uncle. He spent most of his life sailing the seas on a ship as the captain, exploring ruins and old battlefields to scavenge for anything of worth. Despite the low value, his most prized find is his Mark XLII Garlean hand grenades that he found some untouched crates of when he visited an old battlefield. He is lecherous and out of shape, and seems to have taken up a new steering wheel for a new ship. He is rarely seen anymore as he has gone back out to sea.

Lance Halonegard
One day this peculiar man showed up at the door. He was looking for mercenary work and a cheap place to stay. Lance is an odd one, for sure. He acts as if he has no idea what's going on, or what to even do. But he has the powerful ability to simply endure and survive, no matter how injured he gets. It may not be a comfortable survival, but he finds a way. He's friendly towards the people he respects and treats his friends well. He's very... Modern to put it in an easier to understand way. In his down time as a mercenary, he's taken to working at a café and has become one of the strongest employees. He's definitely the sort of guy who if he called on you to hang out, then you should probably accept the offer.
Tutti Lu
It's likely that she is one of Kentaro's closest, if not the closest friend he has right now. They both met when Kentaro stopped to greet a friend, and she happened to be sitting with them. There isn't much he wouldn't tell her and confides in her just about anything that might be bothering him. They have a strong bond of friendship and respect each other. Her occupation has given him only more of a reason to rely on her, as it directly assists the café that he lives just above. Business being good for them, means an easier time on himself. Kentaro has been acquainted and friends with Tutti for quite a while now. They've even held hands before! Without gloves!
Rinh'a Nhari
It's surprising to see that these two are friendly towards each other, considering the very deep contrast between them. But maybe it's just like they say. Opposites attract! Kentaro met Rinh by being a mutual friend to someone else. Apparently the quiet man noticed Kentaro's many bizarre incidents that he was running into. Since then Rinh has been a solid friend to Kentaro. He's rather quiet most of the time, but being quiet means more time to think over your words for when you do speak. He's concise and direct, but Ken can practically feel the pressure that weighs on the man's shoulders. The friendship they have is strong enough for Kentaro to forgive him even after the rough patches that they've been through.
Lulufe Lufe
A quiet and reserved woman that Kentaro met while walking around with a past employee and resident of his household. She generally observes her circumstances and events unfolding around her, then speaks in a paced pattern. That is what Kentaro has noticed so far. She used to wear a mask whenever she left home, but recently she has been more comfortable with leaving it off. Mysteries surround this lady that Ken will likely never uncover. But even with all the questions he has, he knows that he can trust her as a friend. And friends they surely are. He thinks of her fondly and tries to be helpful when possible.
Yori Ghidara
Yori appeared at the household after being displaced as a retainer to a noble. She brought these skills over to the household and carries out duties on behalf of the residents. While never asked to do anything unfair, it is clear that the activities of the residents Kentaro lives with displeases her, and often at that. She has a distaste for travel by Aetheryte, but has slowly built up a tolerance and acceptance for it as a means of swift transportation. She is loyal to the one who she works for and could almost fit in as a native to Eorzea... Were it not for the fact she was Raen or the clearly far eastern inspired clothing that she dons.
Ohvu'a Jastice
Jastice is a peculiar man. He is genuinely a nice person not unlike Kentaro, but his intelligence is a tad lacking. This is humorously compensated for with the fact the man could pick up a rock and grind it into a paste if he tried hard enough. He has the ability to walk through solid walls if he wanted to and grind up roasted coffee beans with his fists alone. He generally means no harm, but also has an affinity for friendly sparring matches. It's said he's starting to understand Eorzean letters and has even started reading. One of his hobbies is surprisingly enough, baking. His body is unfortunately marred by permanent burn wounds, but that doesn't stop him from doing his best. Curiously, also like Kentaro, he has an animal companion of his own. A little mammal that sits on his shoulders at times named Pancake. It is unknown what the relationship between Pancake and Kentaro's feathered friends is.
I'm usually only IC when my tag is on, but exceptions can occur. I will sometimes approach people, but I just as often find a place to relax and sit idle for a while.
I do almost ALL RP, but I try to avoid gory stuff and super gross stuff if I can help it. No sewer levels, please.
I have a good grasp of IC and OOC. I generally won't get upset about anything that happens IC unless I feel like there was something really wrong about it, or maybe there was heavy OOC intent. Things like Kills You and stuff like that are probably not good.
I'd like my character to not die. I'm not big on throwaway characters. But sometimes you really can't do much about it.
My home server and data center is Balmung and Crystal respectively.
In recent news
I've been playing a lot of League of legends ARAM with friends. I also play a good bit of Hunt: Showdown. Sorry if I'm inactive because of it!
I'd love to play them all with more friends. If ARAM isn't your thing, I'm a bit rusty on Summoner's rift, but I can probably keep it together.
